Frimstone have entered into a long term commercial agreement with Richard Johnston Ltd to use the siding at Snetterton for the importation of stone aggregates. The first train arrived and was offloaded on Saturday 20th June 2015 and it is anticipated that a weekly service will run enabling Frimstone to service their customers in Norwich and Thetford.
The first cargo was hauled by DB Schenker Rail’s Class 66 locomotive hauling 18 JNA wagons carrying 1,300t of limestone from Dowlow Quarry near Buxton in Derbyshire
