From a leading logistics provider

Exports hit a record high.

Government figures show that Scottish food and drink exports rose to a record £5.5bn last year.

A new report has found that the Scottish export market has been largely aided by the whisky demand – exports were worth £4bn, up £153m (4%) from 2015 and at Johnston Logistics UK (JLUK) we are able to offer excise bonded warehousing to support both the import and export drinks industry within the UK. With our expertise in dealing with HMRC, we allow our customers to focus on their core business.

Our warehousing and IT systems are approved by HMRC, meeting the strictest conditions required for ‘under bond’ storage.  At any one time, we can have over 20,000 pallets of excise bonded goods and with a premises licence we can send orders direct to consumers on behalf of our customers.

In addition, we are certified with BRC AA grade for storage and distribution, allowing JLUK to continually exceed the high standards set by both HMRC and our customers.  We are able to provide the supply chain with integrity and accountability while maintaining a near 100% stock accuracy.
