Last month we were delighted to retain our AA grade British Retail Consortium (BRC) Storage & Distribution Certification. This internationally recognised standard reflects our use of best practices and our continuous improvement through product safety management. In short, it demonstrates we handle each and every clients’ goods with the utmost care.
We only get one environment and, like all businesses, our operations have an impact. That’s why we’ve also recently achieved ISO 14001 Environmental Accreditation. Familiar to many of our customers, it certifies the ways we continually monitor and reduce our environmental footprint. It’s great for our customers too, as it helps us keep costs low by ensuring we get the most from energy and other resources.
Achieving ISO 9001:2015 earlier this year has been the strongest indication of our dedication to delivering outstanding logistics for our customers. ISO 9001 is the global quality management standard and encompasses everything we do. Its principles include a strong customer focus, highly motivated management, process driven quality and continual improvement. Regardless of whether we’re warehousing materials or individually fulfilling e-commerce orders, it places quality front and centre.
The most unique standard we are currently working toward is Authorised Economic Operator (AEO). This EU-certified international standard helps quality businesses like us cooperate with other international supply chain organisations with less oversite. Presently being assessed, it will be recognition of our status as a trusted international logistics partner for ambitious global businesses. Watch this space!
