Johnston Logistics UK-Welcomes-Brexit-Deal

At Johnston Logistics UK our customers come first and so we would like to offer the opportunity to get to know the team that works on our customer accounts every day.  Our Customer Care team takes on a variety of roles within the business in order to support the needs of our customers, here we look at what that often involves.

The team comprises of Jayne, Dan, Rob and Mikayla. Together they have over 30 years of experience within the industry and are equipped with a wealth of knowledge and skills to provide an excellent service to a variety of customers.

As well as keeping the daily operation on track, the team members act as advocates for their customers through monitoring order progress, stock levels and any potential issues that may arise.

Although multi-skilled, Jayne and Rob mainly look after the daily order cycles for our un-bonded customers.  This can involve processing orders placed by our customer, managing the automatic order pool and arranging transport with our haulage partners.  Both Jayne and Rob are key contacts for some of their dedicated accounts, allowing the customers to directly communicate any special requests or questions.

Dan, with the help of Mikayla, holds a key position within customer care as the primary contact for one of our largest multi-channel customers.  As well as completing the daily duties of the customer care team, Dan and Mikayla perform additional functions for this account including liaising daily with the customer and managing the set up and fulfilment of promotional events such as gift boxes and seasonal hampers.

Every member of the team takes great pride in their ability to satisfy the needs of our customers.  Jayne commented, “We believe that we go above and beyond for our customers on a daily basis, if there is a way for us to add additional value for our customers we will do our utmost to do so.” Dan continued, “For us it’s all about getting the right product to the customer at the right time in the right condition.”
