Johnston Logistics UK has increased its warehousing for 2 Sisters Food Group, one of the UK’s biggest food manufacturers.
Ingredients and packaging materials from the 2 Sisters facility in Derby has now been merged with the Johnston Logistics UK Snetterton operation; creating additional space and improved operational efficiency.
The food group employed Johnston Logistics UK to store bulk ambient food ingredients such as breadcrumbs, flavours and batter mix earlier this year.
Sean Farrell, Operations Manager at Johnston Logistics said, “We are delighted that we have developed such an excellent relationship with the 2 Sisters Food Group in so short amount of time; which has resulted in their trust in us to expand our warehousing solution for them.”
Sean added “Their products are stored onsite here at Snetterton within our BRC AA grade accredited warehousing and supplied on a just-in-time basis to the customer’s production site at Thetford.”
