Congratulations to our director Rob McIndoe for completing two mammoth physical challenges in just seven days.
On 30th June, Rob completed the British Cycling Challenge 100 around Norfolk as part of Team UEA and the Great British Cycling Festival. Setting off from Norwich in rising summer temperatures, he cycled up and around North Norfolk before returning to Norwich after 100-miles to cross the finish line. Though he may not have been the first to finish, he was certainly not the last and everyone who completed the ride deserves great respect.
On 5th July, Rob and our fellow colleagues Kim Hamling and Steve Brighton completed East Anglia Children’s Hospice’s Pier to Pier challenge. Beginning at 7am, they walked 32 miles from Great Yarmouth Pier to Cromer Pier, arriving tired but triumphant some 12 hours later. Well done to all three and everyone who took part in this tough challenge.
