The world’s oldest co-operative wine merchant, The Wine Society, have chosen Johnston Logistics UK to help meet the rising demand from their growing membership.
Stocking a range of over 1,500 wines, the online wine retailer is one of the largest in the country and has selected the Norfolk-based logistics experts to help receive, store and distribute their member’s choices.

The Wine Society can trace its beginnings back to the last Great Exhibition in 1874 and is owned solely by its members. Their mission is to champion the joy of good wine, for which they have won numerous awards including Outstanding Wine Retailer of the Year 2018 and Wine Club of the Year 2018.
The award-winning Society has seen continued growth in membership resulting in the need to increase their existing warehousing and logistics. Based in Stevenage, they chose Johnston Logistics UK who import, store and distribute over 20,000 pallets of alcoholic drinks every year, for clients including independent producers and major supermarkets alike.
